ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

City College's Administrative Assistant Program is an exciting program that provides students with the skills needed to succeed today. City College's program teaches students to properly prepare and edit business documents, successfully communicate with internal and external clients on the phone and in person, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and make effective presentations. Students in the program also learn to use Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint effectively.
Pre-requisites: GED/HS diploma, typing test/keyboard skills, and computer skills or Intro to computers.

  • Office Management

Word Advanced, Outlook Express and Power Point presentation skills. Learn to make effective presentations, perform word processing, spreadsheet and data entry activities, along with proofreading and scheduling appointments using Outlook.
