Effective July 1, 2008, the qualifying course hours for a salesperson license increased from 45 hours to 75 hours. All applicants must show proof of completion of 75 hours of approved education. Course includes license law and ethics, agents’ responsibilities to clients and customers, fair housing, contracts, deeds, leases, financing, property valuation, listing procedures, land use regulations, environmental issues, construction and more. To receive a Certificate of Completion you need 90% attendance and pass the School Test. Please note: Salesperson applicants with proof of completing the 45 hour salesperson course prior to July 1, 2008 and need to obtain their salesperson license have to complete a salesperson 30 hour remedial course to fulfill the new 75 hours requirement.

This course is for 1) Salesperson applicants who completed a 45-hour course prior July 1, 2008 and need to obtain their salesperson license. 2) Licensed salespersons who wish to apply for their broker’s license must complete this course in addition to the 45 hour broker qualifying course.
