Not all MCA alumni pursue careers in communications. However, many students graduating from the Ad/PR Program have entered the filed with great success. Over the past five years, graduates have either started their own consulting businesses or have been hired by the following businesses in such positions as Assistant Account Executives, Marketing Associates, or Media Planners, etc:

Some students pursue graduate degrees in business, law, journalism, integrated communications and other areas upon graduating.  Others become freelance practitioners or enter other professions.


Scholar Athletes

In 2008, JodyAnn Raymond was named a 9-time All-American in Track and Field. In her Senior year,  Jody placed first in the 100 Meter Dash at the 2008 NCAA Women’s Outdoor Championship.

PaulDedewo CUNY Athlete 

Aspiring copywriter Paul Dedewo received the 2009-2010 Men’s Indoor Track and Field CUNYAC Rookie of the Year award, he was also named the Outdoor Track and Field Performer of the Year. He was named the CUNYAC Championship MVP three times.
