    Dr. Rebekka Voß from the Institute of Judaic Studies of Goethe University and Faculty candidate for Jewish Studies Program will present a lecture on, "The Last Emperor: Charles V (1500-1558) from Jewish, Christian and Muslim Perspectives”

    Rebekka Voß is Assistant Professor of the History of German and European Jewry at the Institute of Judaic Studies of Goethe University (Frankfurt am Main, Germany) and a member of the Young Academy of the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and the Berlin Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. She has held postdoctoral fellowships at Bar Ilan University (Israel), Columbia University and as a Harry Starr Fellow in Judaica at Harvard University. Her research focuses on European Jewish cultural, intellectual and religious history during the early modern and modern periods.
