    A panel on colonial New York commemorating Juan Rodriguez’s arrival in the Hudson in 1613

    A scholarly panel sponsored by the CUNY Dominican Studies Institute "La Española as a Precedent and New Amsterdam as an Aftermath: The Worlds that Juan Rodriguez Connected," brings a team of experts in early colonial history of New York and the Dominican Republic to discuss the local historical context at the moment Juan Rodriguez arrived in the Hudson Harbor Area in 1613.
