    A panel discussion on Stop and Frisk with regard to students, by students.

    Join us as we present a diverse panel of student leaders speaking about the abusive policing they have witnessed in their communities. The discussion will be on abusive NYPD practices and recommendations for the new mayor and police commissioner.

    Introductions: Veronica Agard, Equal Justice Policy Director for the Roosevelt Institute at the City College of New York and CCNY Student

    Moderator: Dr. Alex Vitale, Professor of Sociology at CUNY Brooklyn College

    Panelists:

    Ashley Coneys, Program Associate at the Police Reform Organizing Project (PROP), student at Hunter College (CUNY)

    Ayisha Irfan, Former Youth Organizer at the Arab American Association of NY, graduate of Brooklyn College (CUNY)

    Rakim Jenkins, former President of the  Black Student Union (BSU) at the City College of New York, recent CCNY graduate

    Doug Keeler, President of the Queer Union and student at New York University
