Come join The Philippine-American Organization and enjoy Filipino cuisine and culture Nov.14 at 8pm.The Philippine-American Organization is hosting a themed dinner event that invites the college campus and other universities to experience Filipino arts and culture. The event will have three themes: Kamayan, Sayawan, and Kantahan. Kamayan is Filipino for eating with one’s hands, where we invite our guests to eat their food with their hands. Sayawan is Filipino for dancing, where we will have cultural dances performed, followed by inviting our guests to participate in a few more dances afterward. Kantahan is Filipino singing, where we will have club members perform as well as inviting our guests to an open microphone. Afterwards, we would continue the night with serving the food as well as holding fundraiser activities, where a portion of the revenue would be donated to UNICEF Philippines. Admission is 5 dollars.
