    Prof. Andrea Weiss, on the re-release of PARIS WAS A WOMAN, will explore the life of Gertrude Stein.

    Help the award-winning professor, author, and filmmaker, Andrea Weiss, celebrate the re-release of her book, "Paris Was a Woman: Portraits from the Left Bank." She will be lecturing on Gertrude Stein this coming Thursday, March 20, @ 6:30 PM in NAC 6/316.

    The book is a rare profile of the female literati in Paris at the turn of the century, this "scrapbook" of their work--along with Weiss's lively commentary--highlights the political, social, and artistic lives of the renowned lesbian and bisexual Modernists, including Colette, Djuana Barnes, and Sylvia Beach.
