Presented by Natalia Kapli, Ph.D., Assistant Director, CETL.
Blogs and wikis are two very powerful educational tools that are ideal for discussion, reflection, presentation, collaboration and group work. They can be used for group projects, class websites, individual student pages, student journals and a myriad of other uses.
There are various tools available online that will enable you to create blogs and wikis for your class. The Blackboard course management system also provides access to a blog and wiki tool.
This workshop will: explain the difference between a blog and a wiki, demonstrate how blogs and wikis can be used in different classroom settings, introduce various tools for creating blogs and wikis.
