Liberty in North Korea will screen The People’s Crisis. Includes a panel discussion.
On March 14, Liberty in North Korea, will screen their film The People’s Crisis, which examines the ”crippling poverty, humanitarian disasters, chronic food shortages and a denial of even the most basic of freedoms” suffered by the North Korean people. After the screening, a panel of journalists, policy experts, and scholars will discuss the film and participate in a Q&A with the audience. They include moderator Moderator: Stephen Noerper, Senior Vice President, The Korea Society; and panelists, Kathryn Weathersby, - Korea Studies Visiting Scholar, U.S.-Korea Institute at SAIS, in Washington, D.C. and specialists from Liberty in North Korea.
