Millery Polyne of NYU will present a talk on Haiti in the popular and scholarly imagination.
Drawing upon his forthcoming book, Historian Millery Polyne, assistant professor of American Studies at New York University, will present a talk on Haiti in the popular and scholarly imagination. It will interest students and faculty members interested in disaster capitalism, the social construction of natural disasters,development studies, and Caribbean and Latin American history.
