A sick little girl, Joey, and a crippled old man, Cliff, befriend in a hospital room. Cliff, once a children's book author, helps Joey feel better through illustrations of a story.

Cast Information:
Mia Procida (JOEY)
This is Mia's Film debut. She has been on stage in several shows including "Tales of Hans Christian Andersen"- Missoula Children's Theater, "Music Man" (Gracie Shinn)- Bergen Summertime Players, "BIG!the Musical"- Gas Lamp Players, and "The Nutcracker-the musical"- Linda Dorsey School of Performing Arts. Mia is only six, and wants to be a director when she grows up. In the meantime she enjoys acting, drawing, dancing, singing, playing sports, learning piano, and enjoying her pet rabbit, Snuggles. Her brother Travis, father, Joseph, and mother, Holly, are very proud of all of Mia's hard work!

Greg A. Baron (CLIFF)
Having been everything from a rock & roll roadie to flight instructor and pianist to martial-artist, acting seemed like a natural next step for Greg Baron. Beginning as a voice actor for commercials and narration, Mr. Baron then took the time to explore dinner theater, community theater, film, on-camera commercials, voice-over, stand-up comedy and print modeling. Most of all, he enjoys acting.

Theresa Lee (BETTY)
Theresa Lee's last project was Vanya in an AntFarm Prod adaptation she co-wrote. It was performed at Connelly theatre for Chekhov Now Festival & moved to 78th St Theatre Lab. She has worked with Obie award winning director Daniel Aukin in "The Year of the Baby". She has premiered several plays by Obie winning playwright mac Wellman including: "FNU LNU" @ soho Rep, "Why the Y in Ybor", a site specific project in Ybor City,Fl and "Girl Gone" with Director Paul Lazar & "The Lesser Magoo" at 78th St Theatre Lab. She has also worked with Obie winning playwright Len Jenkin in "Poor Folks Pleasure", "Tallahassee", & "Careless Love" with Director David Lee.

Kyle Moss (AIDE)
The Paper Castle marks Kyleâs second student film. She also recently starred in an independent film directed by George Strayton, and is currently working on an original rock musical. In addition to acting, Kyle is the lead singer of a local New York City band, Spinster. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and has also studied at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York City.
