bio:
Mario Rosales is a painter, photographer and filmmaker from Guatemala
City. In 1999 he graduated from Rafael Landivar University with a graduate
thesis entitled Cinema and Solidarity with Guatemala,
and a degree in Communication Studies. Mario's short films, experimental
videos and video-clips have been shown in festivals in Spain and Latin
America as well as on MTV Latino. In 2001 he received a fellowship to
study at the University of Seville, where he created a human rights documentaries
for the university television station. In 2002 he was accepted to the
MFA Media Arts program at CCNY.
