| bio: Originally from Colombia, Wilson received his Bachelors Degree in Film and Television Production at National University. During his time at the University, he began working on many media projects which eventually led him to the position of director of the Media Center at Arts Faculty. In addition, he was head of Media for Septima Papeleta (seventh vote) in its campaign to the 1998 presidential elections of Colombia. Wilson moved to New York in 2000 pursuing his Masters in Media Arts Production. During his studies at CCNY, he participated in many productions among which he directed and produced Anna’s Diary (16mm, short film) and A Foreign Kiss in Times Square (14 min. Documentary). He produced two different thesis projects: I am Alcantara (A documentary shot in Mexico in 2003) and The Killing of Diogenes (A 16 mm short film, shot in Guatemala). Currently he is Directing and Producing Fighting with Music (Luchando con Musica) a documentary shot in Colombia in 2003. |
