Synopsis:
Playground is an experimental documentary which
explores the ways in which three New York City teenagers creatively make
the most of limited resources in their urban environment. By watching
and listening to Rio, a skateboarder, Ashley, a basketball player, and
Alex, a break dancer, we get to see a timeless part of New York that often
gets overlooked: the pleasure, fun, and devotion that ordinary kids manage
to find simply through playing, despite the challenges of growing up in
the city.
