| Fiction - 21 minutes Synopsis - A Drop of Life, is the story of two women, one Indian woman and one American, and the convergence of their shared struggle to save the world’s drinking water. Nia, an ambitious young African-American lawyer, represents the interests of Manhattan-based water corporation Hydron. Nia’s journey to India begins with her guiding a group of water bureaucrats and executives through a desert to demonstrate Hydron’s new pilot project water pump which dispenses water with a swipe from a pre-paid credit card. When she finds herself in need of drinking water without a pre-paid card, Nia experiences first-hand the horrors of this system. Crew: |
