The Mott Hall School

Since 1992, staff at the Center for School Development have been working with the staff and students of the Mott Hall School, on the College's campus in upper Manhattan. Two years ago a formal partnership agreement was signed with the school. Mott Hall is a school where all fourth through eighth graders have laptops that they bring to school each day. We have brought preservice students, college faculty and visitors from around the world to this school to observe how laptops become part of the instructional environment. Mott Hall teachers have also participated in CultureQuest, ThinkQuest NYC and other technology-related projects of the Center and Center staff have worked directly with Mott Hall children and faculty to improve their technology skills.
