Early Childhood Education

The City College School of Education!

This program is designed to provide you with in-depth knowledge of child development, childhood learning, and teaching skills for young children ages birth through eight. The program leads to New York State certification in Early Childhood Education, a requirement that must be met by anyone working as a head teacher in any early childhood setting, including those intending to work in grades preK-2 in public elementary schools.
