COURSES - FALL 2009

FIQWS 10023 KM: Consumerism in America
This seminar delves into the causes and effects of America’s obsession with consuming. Why do we spend so much? Do we need all this stuff? Does what we buy really make us happy? And how does consuming affect our lives in terms of our need to work harder, our tendency to run up debt, and so forth? Readings from recent books form the basis for class discussions and writing assignments.

ECO 31106: Marketing Research
This course is focused on providing a background in marketing research, not just to those planning to pursue careers as researchers, but to anyone who might commission, manage, or use marketing research as a part of his/her career.
