Shanna grew up in a southern town of Haiti named Jacmel where she earned both the Haitian and the French Baccalauréats. After earning an Associate degree in Liberal Arts from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, she transferred to CCNY where she is currently pursuing a B.A in French studies with a minor in English. Her two areas of interest are Law and French Literature and she would love to examine more deeply the relation between the two. She hopes to be able to acquire a solid foundation in legal thought that can be found throughout French literature of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
