For freshmen and transfer students in their first year at City College who have not yet decided on a major or are fulfilling requirements to apply to one of the College's professional schools.

Gateway Academic Center (GAC) NA 1/219

The Gateway Academic Center (GAC) is set-up to focus solely on the needs of the undecided sophomore student (31+ credits), or that student who has not yet completed all of the requirements to apply to a professional school, by addressing such issues as major choice, degree progress, research, career options and more.  It offers mentoring, tutoring, workshops and special events to help this cohort navigate this critical year in their academic progress.
