(For information about the MTA Metrocard system and a trip-planning aid for travel around the City, visit http://www.mta.info/metrocard/tourism/index.html.)

Thursday and Friday sessions (November 5th and 6th) will be held at the Graduate Center (*GSUC on the map), which is located at 365 Fifth Avenue (northeast corner of 5th and 34th). Welcome, registration, and all sessions except for the plenaries will be on the concourse level.

Saturday and Sunday sessions (November 7th and 8th) and the conference banquet  will be held at City College (*CCNY on the map), which is located at 160 Convent Avenue. The main entrance to City College is at Amsterdam Avenue and 138th St. Welcome and registration will be in NAC 6/219 (room 219 on the 6th floor of the North Academic Center).

For most people, here's the simplest and fastest way to get to NAC 6/219 (note that the directions are slightly different for Saturday and Sunday, with the differences in bold face):

On Saturday:
Take the #1 subway uptown to the w. 137th St./City College stop.
When you leave the subway station, walk north one block to w. 138th St.
Walk one and a half blocks east (right) on w. 138th to Amsterdam Ave.
Cross Amsterdam and enter the City College campus through the 138th St. Gate. The NAC (North Academic Center) building will be on your right.
Continue straight down the walkway, until the NAC Plaza appears on your right.
Follow the flow of the NAC Plaza down to the main entrance of the building.
Check in at the security checkpoint.
Follow the ICRNYC signs to NAC 6/219. (The signs will take you to the left [south] to an elevator bank at the end of the hall, which you will then take to the 6th floor. NAC 6/219 is right there when you get out of the elevator.)

On Sunday (when the 138th St. Gate is closed):
Take the #1 subway uptown to the w. 137th St./City College stop.
When you leave the subway station, walk north one block to w. 138th St.
Walk one and a half blocks east (right) on w. 138th to Amsterdam Ave.
Cross Amsterdam. The 138th St. Gate (closed on Sunday) will be just to your left and the NAC (North Academic Center) building will be on your right.
Walk south (right) on Amsterdam, with the NAC Building on your left. Very shortly you will come to a plaza/breezeway that cuts through the middle of the NAC building. On the far (south) side of the plaza, you will see a gray security kiosk. To the left of the kiosk is an outdoor flight of stairs that leads to another, curving flight of stairs that brings you down to the lower (main) NAC Plaza.
Follow the flow of the lower (main) NAC Plaza down and back to the main entrance of the building.
Check in at the security checkpoint.
Follow the ICRNYC signs to NAC 6/219. (The signs will take you to the left [south] to an elevator bank at the end of the hall, which you will then take to the 6th floor. NAC 6/219 is right there when you get out of the elevator.)
