Peter Bohlin: Selected Bibliography

About:

Peter Bohlin founded Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, a prominent Philadephia firm, in 1965. BCJ now has offices in Pittsburgh, Wilkes-Barre, Philadelphia and Seattle. The AIA named BCJ the 1994 Firm of the Year, honored for its "rigorous eclecticism and democratic vision." The firm has done substantial work on the Carnegie Mellon campus and may be best known by the public as the designer of Bill Gate's enormous, high-tech home in the state of Washington. BCJ has received more than 250 regional, national and international awards for their buildings -- major commissions for academic institutions, public spaces and corporations (the Apple store on Michigan Ave., Chicago). The firm also has designed many residences in addition to the Gates' home.
