About:
When he graduated from Pratt Institute with his architectural degree, Kevin Bone began a five-year apprenticeship as a Studio Assistant to Raimund Abraham. Afterwards, he received his NY license and was hired by John Hejduk as an instructor at Cooper Union. Now a full professor there, he has also taught elsewhere including Columbia University and the Hochschule der Kunste in Berlin, Germany. At Cooper, Bone developed the school's building technology program. The program stretched to include the study of infrastructure in the city as well as waterfront structures. He is also working with students on a study of the New York water supply system. He has written widely on this topic. Additionally for nearly 25 years, he has been a partner and principal in Bone/Levine Architects focusing on residential and preservation work.
