Alan Hantman: Selected Bibliography
About:
As the Architect of the Capitol in Washington, DC, appointed
in 1997, Alan Hantman, FAIA, "is responsible to the United States Congress
for the maintenance, operation, development, and preservation of the United
States Capitol Complex, which includes the Capitol, the congressional office
buildings, the Library of Congress buildings, the Supreme Court building,
the U.S. Botanic Garden, the Capitol Power Plant, and other facilities."

M. Hantman was graduated from the City College of New York with a bachelor's
degree in architecture and earned a master's degree in urban planning from
the City University of New York Graduate Center. Earlier in his career
he served as Vice President of Facilities Planning and Architecture for
the Rockefeller Center Management Corporation of New York City for 10 years.
