Malcolm Holzman, FAIA, Founding Partner: During three decades of practice, Mr. Holzman has designed a wide variety of notable public buildings in 25 states across the country. His ability to provide innovative solutions for complex building programs has contributed to HHPA's national recognition. Holzman's advocacy of architectural excellence extends to his participation in international conferences, lectures and teaching. He has held endowed chairs of architecture at Yale University, University of Wisconsin, Ball State University and the University of Texas. In recognition of his advancement of architecture and urbanism over a sustained period of time, he received the Pratt Institute Distinguished Alumni Award and the 2001 Gold Medal from the Tau Sigma Delta, the honor society of architecture and the allied arts. He publishes regularly as the American contributor to the Art Book and is a member of the editorial board of the Mac Journal of the Mackintosh School of Architecture. Stonework, a personal exposition on building with stone in the 21st Century, was published in April 2002.
