World Year of Physics 2005

The United Nations endorsed 2005 as the World Year of Physics: an international celebration of physics, focusing especially on Albert Einstein's pioneering contributions in 1905. While 2005 has come and gone, many of the sites associated with this celebration are still active and contain valuable links. Below are listed the major international site and national sites. This is not an exhaustive list; many countries in addition to those listed below have established excellent web sites.

International: WYP 2005.

Quantum Diaries: This site is a personal look at the
daily lives of physicists from around the world as they
experience the World Year of Physics.
The site is in English, but the entries are in the native languages of the individual scientists.
