The publishing arm of the U.S. National Academies; publishes mostly science and technology policy documents. Full text of nearly all of their publications can be viewed online. Once you have located the document of interest, use the Read it Online FREE! link to view the text. http://www.nap.edu/Electronic journals: Nearly all of the electronic journals are licensed resources available only to members of the CUNY community or in many cases only to members of the City College community. Within the Alphabetical List of Journal Titles Online (http://mh7cb7jt5p.search.serialssolutions.com/), there is no explicit category for history or philosophy of science under the Browse e-journals by subject pull-down menu. Nevertheless, many history of science titles can be found under the general heading for history, which is under Humanities and Reference; likewise, many philosophy of science titles can be found under the general heading for philosophy, which is under Religion and Philosophy. Other titles can be located under specific science or technology headings. For example, a link to the electronic version of Early Science and Medicine can be found under both the history and the medicine headings. A number of full-text history of science and technology journals can be viewed through JSTOR (http://ccny-proxy1.libr.ccny.cuny.edu/login?url=http://www.jstor.org/jstor/) select BROWSE from the main page, then choose the History of Science & Technology heading near the top of the second column.
