Policies & Procedures
for the use of iMEDIA classroom equipment
While the iMEDIA staff will make every attempt to meet last minute requests for equipment, in order to guarantee the availability of equipment, faculty, research staff and students should reserve iMEDIA equipment at least 2 weeks prior to the date it is needed. The person making the reservation should then call in the days just before it is needed to verify its availability.
Please understand that the iMEDIA staff may require that you show a valid CCNY ID to have equipment released to you.
- Forms for reserving equipment are available in NAC 5/220.
- Reservations for equipment are made on a first come, first served basis.
- Faculty are responsible for the safety and security of equipment charged
out to them from the iMEDIA equipment room.- Equipment reserved for use in the NAC building must be signed out, picked up, and returned by faculty.
- Equipment will be released to students only with prior faculty approval.
- Equipment not picked up within 15 minutes of the reserve time will be released.
Policies & Procedures for iMEDIA room use
iMEDIA rooms are located and equiped expressly for the support of faculty, students and research staff's media needs. In order to make these media resources equally available to all, all CCNY courses will be assigned a regular, non-media classroom for their regular semester work. iMEDIA rooms will then be reserved only when needed to support media rich components of course work.
