ATELIERS
Atelier
MPTV (music, photography, theatre, visual)
This atelier is a forum for students and the community to collaborate
in developing annual performances. Members of this atelier don’t
have to be fluent in French but rather should have a flair and love
for French aesthetics and culture. Through their own medium, e.g.
photography, video, acting, dancing, painting, set design, etc.,
participants are encouraged to explore their own artistic growth
while giving life and enthusiasm to a common project.
Atelier Expérimental
This atelier is offered to actors and aspiring actors speaking French
and to anyone who has a desire to improve French language skills
through improvisations, movements and diction.
We will do stage readings, develop scripts and produce an annual
recital of scenes for stage, short film and video production.
Atelier Music in Action
This atelier offers a platform to create original musical compositions.
Some past works include:
An electronic composition.
A project inspired by scenes from Racine.
“Revisiting the Romantics”:
which focuses on the episodes of composers and poets’ lives interweaved
with a selection of their works.
The exploration and arrangement of Charlie
Parker‘s music “Bird in Paris”.
"Paris Dreams of Blues": A large
musical form inspired by Blues and African themes
interspersed with visual tableaux.
