MFA STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS & ACHIEVEMENT: ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Yolanda Pividal (CCNY/MFA 2007) has garnered the “Best Emerging Latino Filmmaker" award at the 2007 IFP Market. The award is for “Tijuana Nada Mas”, her MFA thesis film which she is expanding into a feature. The award included a grant for $10K!

"Silences" by Octavio Warnock Graham (MFA Class of 2006) sweeps Student Emmy Awards as the first film in the event's history to win three prizes: Best Documentary, The Symour Bricker Humanitarian Award, and Best Director!
