Princeton Review Names City College One of America’s Best Colleges

Admissions, financial aid, and academics are key factors

The City College of New York is one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review, and is featured in the new 2015 edition of The Best 379 Colleges. According to The Princeton Review, "City College is one of the toughest CUNY schools to get into" and boasts programs such as the Macaulay Honors College and the City College Honors Program.

In its profile, The Princeton Review praises City College for rigorous admission standards and financial aid opportunities while CCNY students cite academic programs, professors, diversity of student body, and strong ties to research as key factors that make City College one of the best institutions in the country.

"The Princeton Review ranking illustrates the mission and strength of City College, which is home to nationally recognized faculty scholars, award-winning programs, exceptional students and graduates, and innovative research that is transforming the world," said Lisa S. Coico, president.

Whether students are looking for preparation for an exciting career or graduate and doctoral studies, City College offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs in architecture, education, engineering, the arts and humanities, the social sciences and science, and a unique BS/MD program.
