Public Invited to WHCR Broadcast Law Forum February 20
The station has assembled for the event an esteemed panel of legal experts, activists, and advocates that includes: attorneys Michael Warren, J. Machelle Sweeting and Anthony Johnson; educator Betty Dopson of CEMOTAP (Committee to Eliminate Media Offensive to African People); Det. Ali McBride, and other leaders in the fight for justice.
Gloria J. Browne-Marshall, esq., associate professor of constitutional law at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and author of “Race, Law and American Society: 1607 to present” will be the moderator.
Refreshments follow the panel discussion.
Owned and operated by The City College of New York, WHCR 90.3 FM, as a non-commercial station, seeks to empower its listeners by providing educational and cultural programming.
