Profile
Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, David has been with music from a very early age, first studying with renown harpsichordist Mary Jo Horton. Later in life, David lived in Colorado and furthured his studies in music and philosophy at the University of Colorado while he continued to grow as a practicing musician, composer and perpetual student during his thirteen year stay. In 2006, David relocated to New York City where he has been composing primarily for film and television, most recently writing and performing music for Ken Burns' documentaries. David has also been performing throughout the city as a solo artist and as a collaborator. David remains deeply grateful for all of the life giving experiences which a life in music has illuminated for him and he looks forward to cultivating community through sound, art, and expression into the undrawn future.
