    Professional Activities: Current: Member of Advisory Board for the National Institutes of Health /NICHD Study of Early Child Care; Member SRCD and SRA, APA Minority Fellow, Member National Academy of Sciences, NRC Committee on Integrating the Science of Early Development; National and local research and evaluation consultation.

    Current Projects: Organizing research conference and edited volume on new risk factors among African-descent youth in the U.S.; developing research project on violence prevention among youth; revising and editing book on health promotion during pregnancy among low-income women and articles on teaching high-ability thinking skills to minority high school students.
