Profile
Dr. Firooznia is interested in science pedagogy and plant ecophysiology. His past research has focused on tree-soil water relations and applications of simulation models to estimating forest water use. More recently he has focused on researching the effectiveness of various teaching methods that use active learning in the science classroom.
