I have had 20 years experience as a middle school and high school science teacher in both independent schools and the NYC Department of Education. I was a founding faculty member of East Side Community High School, one of the first "small schools" in the NYC public school system. I also was a science staff developer for District 75 (Citywide Special Education), District 75 Science Coordinator, and a Science Instructional Specialist in the Department of Mathematics and Science for the NYCDOE.
