Profile
Professor Thompson earned his Bachelors degree in Political Science, Economics and Sociology from the State University of New York at Old Westbury in 1974 and his Masters degree in United States history from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 1978. Originally a member of the City College Department of Special Programs (SEEK), he has taught Introduction to Sociology and courses in criminology, deviance, race, ethnicity, family relationships, and social work as an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Sociology since 1999.
