Profile
Professor Michael Sheehy received his Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the California Institute of Integrated Studies. He teaches courses on Buddhism in China and Tibet, Asian Religions, etc.
He is the founder and executive director of the Jonang Foundation, a U.S.-based not-for-profit organization working to promote research and scholarship on Tibet.
He is currently the Shelly and Donald Rubin Scholar in Residence research fellow at the Tibetan Buddhist Resource Center in New York.
