Ray Sanchez is a print and web-based reporter who specializes in international and Latin American topics. He has contributed to Reuters, ABCNews.com and Latino Voices at the Huffington Post and recently examined undocumented immigrants post-Sandy. A member of Newsday's 2004 Pulitzer Prize finalist team for coverage of the New York blackout, Professor Sanchez is also the co-author of “The Duke of Havana,” a non-fiction book about baseball and Cuba.
