• Research Interests:

I am a social and health psychologist with research interests on the role of religion/spirituality in illness prevention, health promotion, and adjustment to stressful life events; women’s health issues; ethnic disparities in health. Current projects include validating a religious strain measure; assessing stress and coping in the aftermath of the world trade center attacks; developing pilot research to study cancer populations.
