Retention rate of the 00-01 cohort, in Fall 01, is 80% A CCNY study of student retention has shown that: *Student Support Services participants were 1.3 times more likely to be retained, three years after entering CCNY, than non-SSSP participants. *SSS Hispanic students were 1.3 times more likely to be retained than their non-SSS counterpart *SSS African-American students were 1.04 times more likely to be retained than their non-SSS counterpart. *SSS students were more likely to return to College in their third, fourth and fifth year than non-SSS counterparts. * Graduation rate of SSSP Fall 95 cohort was 22% compared to 7.7% fo non SSSP students |
