Tutoring Tutoring
Students can receive one to one and group tutoring services in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Economics and many of the core requirement courses. The Student Support Services Program Academic Resource Center assists students to acquire and develop writing, English language, computer and mathematical skills. The center collaborates with other tutoring programs to ensure tutoring for upper-class students. Tutoring is available during semester breaks. The available tutors for this semeter are seen here.
Tutorial Workshops
Group workshops in core courses and Math are held daily during the semester. Students can attend these workshops on a "drop-in" basis. The workshops serve to encourage collaborative learning as well as to foster study groups. Group workshops to prepare for CCNY tests are also scheduled during the semester. Computer Lab
Computers are available at the Academic Resource Center for all SSSP students. The computers can be used for word processing, spreadsheet and other applications. Internet access is also available. Academic software is available for assisted instructio
