| An
educational institution that welcomes and supports a diverse student
body, The City College is committed to providing a supportive environment
for students with disabilities. To that end, The City College provides
a variety of reasonable accommodations, support services and academic
adjustments for students with disabilities.
Student
accommodations, support services, and academic adjustments are coordinated
by The Office of Student Disability Services (SDS). Supporting the
academic efforts of students with disabilities is the primary goal
of the services and programs provided by SDS. Our mission is to
insure, that upon request, qualified students with disabilities
are provided with reasonable and effective accommodations as mandated
by law. Toward this end, SDS facilitates a range of academic support
services and accommodations for students with disabilities.
Early
planning is essential for many of the resources and accommodations
provided, so we ask that you contact us at the earliest possible
date in order for us to assist with your needs.
