Psychological Counseling Services Wellness and Counseling Center offers a variety of psychological counseling services free of charge. Information and referrals is also provided to students about the availablility at the Center of private practitioners and psychotherapeutic training institutes.The student(s) is assessed by the WCC staff and recommendations are made either for the student to be seen at the WCC or to an outside referral agent.Reduced student rate for therapy has been established with four training institutes, The Training Institute for Mental Health, the National Institute for Psychotherapies, the Albert Ellis Training Institute and with the American Philosophical Practitioners Association. These institutes have agreed with the WCC to provide psychotherapeutic counseling on a pre-arranged low cost fee.
