Director of the Co-Curricular Life/ Finley Student Center

Wendy J. Thorton is the Director of the Co-Curricular Life/ Finley Student Center at City College.
Wendy J. Thornton Wendy has been the Director of the Finley Student Center for about six years. 

During her time here, the presence of the student activities at The City College has grown immeasurably.  Finley Student Center is home to over 100 student organizations that organize lectures, workshops, and cultural activities with the Center’s assistance.

Currently, six cultural heritage celebrations are held yearly-Latino, Italian, African, Women’s, Asian and Caribbean Heritage Month. 

Wendy plays a significant role in the development of all of these celebrations by participating in the planning committee and writing proposals to secure funds for the events.
