WOMEN’S STUDIES?

 

Yes, there’s a program at CCNY… and it’s not just for women, either.

It’s interesting and diverse, attracting students from all disciplines and backgrounds to Women’s Studies courses.

The Women’s Studies Program in an interdisciplinary academic Program offering students a multicultural, multiethnic approach to the study of women and gender. In addition to its own courses, the Program offers a series of electives cross-listed with other department including: Anthropology, Art, Black Studies, English, History, International Studies, Latin American & Caribbean Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.
It’s so easy to be a Women’s Studies Minor and add this as an addition to your transcript, to provide you with a more interesting profile for your post-CCNY life and career.

City College students of any major, from any school, may complete a minor in Women’s Studies by completing the core introductory class and then enrolling in any four Women’s Studies electives.
