Ran is an international student from China. She came to the U.S. at the age of 15 to pursue a better education. She studies psychology and specializes in cognitive psychology research. Her current research project involves college students who exhibit depression and anxiety symptoms and probing the relationship between these symptom experiences and their attentional performance. She always enjoys helping people who are in need. She is planning to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology upon the graduation of her BA/MA program. In the future, she hopes to contribute to the research that explores innovative treatment methods for people who experience mental health illness while also utilizing her skills in clinical settings to assist underserved populations.
