Service Fees

The CCNY Events Screening Committee gives final approval and assigns any required staffing for each event that occurs on campus. Fees associated with an event are also assessed by the CCNY Events Screening Committee. While not required to pay space rental fees, registered City College student clubs, departments, and organizations are responsible for additional costs due to staffing assignments. NOTE: All support services must be paid with non-tax levy funds.

Public Safety
Assignments determined by the Office of Public Safety and the CCNY Events Committee.
4 hour minimum.

Security Assistant $24.35/hr.
Peace Officer $32.43/hr.
Sergeant $39.93/hr.
Corporal $34.74/hr
Physical Plant
Assignments determined by the Office of Public Safety and the CCNY Events Committee.
4 hour minimum.
Custodian $29/hr.
Supervisor $32/hr.
Laborer $34/hr.
Plumber $98/hr.
Electrician $77/hr.
Audio/Visual Support
 
Internal events

$35 service fee (effective September 1, 2017) for events during normal CCNY business hours (typically 9am-5pm M-F).
In addition to the service fee, A/V support outside of business hours will be charged $35/hr per technician assigned.

External events $50/hr per technician assigned. 4 hour minimum.
 
Sonic Arts Audio Support (*Great Hall only)
Internal events $65/hr.
External events $85/hr.
On-site Manager Fee
Internal events No charge during normal business hours.
Staff required outside of business hours will be charged an hourly rate of $60/hr (effective September 1, 2017).
External events $60/hr. 4 hour minimum (effective September 1, 2017).
Administrative Fees
Internal events No charge.
External events 10% of total cost.
