Description: 

Dr. Silvis spent the first twelve years of his career in public K-12 education, where he proved himself to be a leader inside and out of the classroom.  Dr. Silvis worked with his district on streamlining, and vertically and horizontally aligning the districts social studies curriculum.  Dr. Silvis also taught and developed courses in teaching and learning at Seton Hill University prior to joining the CUNY School of Medicine team.
